I have staffed the OSCON booth many times in Portland, it is super fun!<br>

The thing that all of the developers ask is : "where's the free data, and how do I get addresses (they really want to know about free geocoding)".<br>
<br>
Now, these observances are based on staffing the booth for several years in the 2006 to 2013 era...<br>
<br>
Some years Autodesk sponsored us (that was plush!), other years I just added on to the PSU open source presence (that was ghetto).<br>

I have asked, both Sara and Thea are available but need to confirm with their employers before confirming. Thea will already be attending the event and asks that we extend the extra ticket to "another volunteer". Do we know of anyone else in the area? Sara recommended Sasha Hart (but I have not asked for an introduction).<br>

With respect to booth presence we have a couple of options, I do not think it is worth throwing the rebranding schedule around. We can always use it as a conversation opener at the event and solicit feedback.<br>
<br>
I do not know much about OSCon, we should consider the audience before deciding what kind of story to tell.<br>
<br>
Finally as part of sponsorship stuff I am reviewing what we list as benefits, so we may end up with some sponsor things to hand out in addition to our own. It will be a good experiment.<br>
