    <p>If you want to get a group of people together an already packed
      conference, you can usually find a 1 hour slot at breakfast time
      for a "Birds of a Feather" type meeting.</p>
    <p>To involve newbies in a Code Sprint, one thing that would be
      really valuable is to have them QA the OSGeo-Live quickstarts.
      Many of the Quickstarts are dated, although we are not sure which
      ones. If you could get newbies to run through the quickstarts,
      have them list what they have checked, have them raise tickets
      against issues, if they are keen, have them update screen shots.
      It requires someone familiar with development practices and
      ideally familiar with OSGeo-Live to coordinate.</p>
    <p>OSGeo-Live also has a very good basis for creating a OSGeo
      workshop for newbies. (Basically pick a few quickstarts, and run
      them).</p>
