[MetaCRS] Gnomonic (gnom) Projection in Proj4JS

Would it be useful to have the Gnomonic Projection (Proj4 name: "gnom")
implemented in Proj4JS?

Yes, this is an offer to implement it (or at least attempt to), but it
strikes me that Proj4JS should be lightweight and not be bloated with every
projection imaginable.

For my current project (a series of demo polar maps) a Proj4JS
implementation of the Gnomonic is in the "nice to have but not essential"
category.
