In the list of items in this RFC I see the following "Remove all .gdc and .mrt files from dictionaries and distributions."<br>
If I remember correctly, the assumption is that these files are not used anymore and can be simply be removed, which was done, and then reverted.<br>
The reason why those files are still in there is because gdc are still referenced somewhere, and it's not just a matter of removing the files. The proper cleanup never managed to be scoped in.<br>
