I am a GIS professional who is interested in open source GIS and would
like to contribute by becoming a journal proofreader/reviewer.  I have
been in the profession for five years, mostly using proprietary
software.  I've recently begun exploring some open source alternatives,
and would to make a contribution.  Thanks for you time and
