[Journal] missing or outdated pages

Regarding the missing layout "policy". What do you think about those author guidelines?:

Those are formulated to ease the export to HTML - can be easily adapted to the requirements of final LaTex format.

Yes the wiki is always going to be outdated now. Instead we use dynamic system approach from your second URL. Please note the notice at the top of the wiki page warning that it is outdated.
