Although I managed putting the news section together without much trouble, these conversions are my first real attempt at TeX projects beyond absolutely basic formatting, & I'm stretching my understanding; if I can get help with fixing the formatting, hopefully I'll absorb understanding of a working model and be able to do more myself on future articles.

Of the two, 165_Rusztecka_CASCADOSS is in better shape. As far as I can see, it's very close, I just haven't quite figured out how to "frame" tables/figures just right, specifically the last 2 graphs. I may also have a bracketing error? But it's not bad. I've cleaned out the old .doc file that used to be in there to avoid confusion.

The other article, in OrshovenWawer_summercourse/, needs more work. It has LARGE tables, and I haven't done a very good job of taming them. As it stands, I've managed to make the tables disappear altogether. I'm willing to do more work on it if someone can tell me (fairly specifically) what to do - my problem now is that I'm flailing with it. I will definitely NOT be offended if someone can go in there and make fixes directly. There's been a bit of versioning confusion with it though - see the README.txt that I've added to the repository, to make sure we're all looking at the right file (Tyler, I've noted that you and I were editing a different file at one point - sorry about that).

Thanks,

Scott

On 11-May-2010, at 11:16 , Sunburned Surveyor wrote:

Guys,

What do we need to do to finish the LaTex conversion and publication

of Volume 6?
