Sort of overlaps with the peer review section. So maybe we should rename "peer review" as "Research Papers" and have it include proceedings, peer review, etc. Actually this was the name for the section that was proposed by Helena Mitasova a while back. - Dan<br>

As you may have seen on the discuss or edu lists :)...<br><br>We have the opportunity to publish the FOSS4G 2009 academic proceedings! I knew about this in July but had forgotten to follow up on it. There are about 9-10 papers, about 12 pages each. They shouldn't need a bunch of editing. It will be a valuable resource to the community and should help to give us something easy to publish.<br>
<br>I've set up a "Proceedings" section in the OJS. Anyone else particularly interested in helping with this project? I can add you as an editor and we can say "yes" to the academic group dealing with this project.<br>
