Perhaps report organisation is a job for the O&CWG? I empathise a lot
with Dionne and Hamish and Celina - vast energy was spent building the
O&CWG and it is not used - at worst sometimes actively sidelined or
weirdly excluded/dismissed ( eg [2] - a perfect opportunity to respond
with 'yes lets get WGs looking at things which will help' ). So I am
completely unsurprised that the WG feels directionless. I think the
way forward is to simply use the O&WG to do the things it is nominally
tasked to do.
Board meetings are held in the middle of the night in GMT+1 (this week
was 02:00-03:00), we all knew it was going to be near impossible for
me to show up in person to meetings months ago. So, overdue
resignation incoming.
Great to read that the 2020 hybrid conference was well attended and
has given some fertile ground for future ideas!
Cheers,
