Open Geospatial Information Day

Canberra | Wednesday, 8 December 2010

In conjunction with the ISO/TC211 Plenary Meeting being held in Canberra this December, an “Open Geospatial Information Day” has been organised to showcase Australian and New Zealand development of applications and tools based on international geospatial standards developed by ISO/TC211 and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). In addition to these applications, various jurisdictions have developed spatial policies, identifying these standards to assist in the management, discovery and delivery of spatial information.
This event presents a unique opportunity to engage with the International geospatial standards community visiting Australia for the ISO/TC211 Plenary Meeting.
