I had a quick look, Sandisk 4GB USB drives are about 6 € and 16GB about 8-9 € (without negotiating for quantity). If we expect 30 participants, and choose 16GB disks that would be 250-300€. (Staying with 4GB, and a zipped VM would come to < 200€).<br/>
I'll be glad to prepare them myself.<br/>
Will that fit into the approved budget?<br/>

One lesson learned from FOSS4G 2015 (Portland) is that the company responsible for the production of the OSGEo Live USB drives should be closely monitored for delivering a working product: "Bricked" OSGeo VM USB sticks could turn into a critical single point of failure for the EGU short courses.<br/>
