VM would be about 10GB.<br>
I would like to have a minimum of extraneous steps that
participants need to do to get the VM up and running. And I
think that 16GB drives are < 5€ today.<br>

amount. Maybe you could buy some usb, install osgeolive
and make them available for the course. Do you have
estimates of costs? They could be included in the 2200
usd?</p>

be requested from the OSGeo Board list. The decision
by the Board will be publicly made via the list.

One lesson learned from FOSS4G 2015 (Portland) is
that the company responsible for the production of
the OSGEo Live USB drives should be closely
monitored for delivering a working product:
"Bricked" OSGeo VM USB sticks could turn into a
critical single point of failure for the EGU short
courses.<br>
