<div>as announced earlier, the budget proposal for 2023 (https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Open_Geoscience_Committee/budget_2023) includes the same items as the 2022 budget, which was not spent due to the Pandemic (conferences mostly in virtual mode).</div>

<div>One pre-Covid idea is to have a OSGeo research price for students at a high visibility event such as EGU GA (tagged with 1000 USD/EUR in the budget).</div>
<div>Does anyone have past experiences how to set such a thing up ? Are there any other research prices funded by OSGeo ?</div>
