[OpenLayers-Dev] Google Zoom Levels

I have noticed that when I integrate a Google Map Layer into my maps
OpenLayers will not allow me to zoom in to the maximum zoom level that
Google Maps will give me natively.

Examples:
With OpenLayers:
http://www.yunnanexplorer.com/yunnanmap.html?lat=23.16121&lon=102.75084&zoom=15&layers=BFFFFTFTFTFFFF
or try the same location

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=23.16121+102.75084&ie=UTF8&z=18&ll=23.161274,102.747627&spn=0.001948,0.005364&t=k&om=1

I noticed there is a resolution array in Google.js -- maybe this is out of
date. If so, has someone new data for this and how was it calculated in the
first place?

Or is it Google who only give out their best images via their own site?
