Dear all,

I have images stored in a database. I can access them through an XML/SOAP
web service.

I had a look at the OpenLayers.Layer.Image and was wondering if i could make
this work with my scenario. But it didnt.

What i pretty mych have is a .aspx page that in the query string accepts the
lat and long for the image. Then i access the webservice and retreive the
image and in the Response.Write() from the aspx page i write the image
response.

Is there any way to make open layers work with this kind of scenario?

One way i though to make the image layer work would be to write the image
that i get as response on the server as a pgusical file and then read that
statis image. But that is creating much more overhead of storing those
images instead of accessing them dynamicly.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Dan
