http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/popupMatrix.html is probably better
than most wiki pages would be. Essentially, there is now new
functionality that, if you pass size 'null' when creating a popup, will
automatically determine the size of the content and use that, taking
into account the size of the close box (if any) padding, etc. 

The only special thing that anyone would have to do to get 'prettier'
content is to change their current anchored/anchoredbubble popup class
name to "FramedCloud" instead.
