I have submitted a proposal for an OpenLayers workshop that is a
complete rewrite of last year's workshop. I've got a styling tutorial
prepared as well that I'm planning on submitting later today.

Who will be at the conference and would like to help

I'm hoping to be there (pending acceptance of a submission). It was
great to have help from many OpenLayers developers last year. In fact,
I think it was critical to the success of the workshop. My experience
has been that it is typically easier for one or two people to prepare
materials and for as many as possible to help in providing support.

Last year we coordinated the presentation between the folks who prepared
the material (Sebastian Benthall and me) and had help from a dozen or so
devs/users roaming around the room offering individual support. I think
this worked well.

Yeah, so my plan is to rewrite the exercises - highlighting new
functionality, improving the basics, and making use of nicer data (and
whatever is available as part of the CCIP). We've got a number of
outreach engineers here who will be helping test and improve the
exercises and docs.

I'd be happy to coordinate on co-presenting - and will discuss as much
here as is practical (though I prefer a higher bandwidth medium for this
type of thing).
