of a city street map that I would like to use as a base map layer. I know the
image extent and its the image size, but I don't know how to set the zoom levels
or resolutions appropriately. I understand what the terms scale and resolution
mean, but I don't understand how those concepts translate into numbers that can
be loaded into the options for constructing a new Image layer.
