However the vector layer seems to have a shifting issue. When I was zoomed to where I could see all of Africa if I centered over Congo the waypoints in Europe would appear over northern Africa. If I moved up to center on Chad they would return to their proper locations.</div>

I've been experimenting using CSS3 translate3d transform for moving<br>
the layer container div when panning. My experimental code is in the<br>
elemoine/accel3d sandbox.<br>

I would appreciate if IOS users could test [1] and [2] and report<br>
back, to know if my "3d-accelerated panning" code makes a difference.<br>
I'm also interested in feedback from Android users, although I don't<br>
expect better results with ?accel3d, since, to my knowledge, Android<br>
doesn't support 3D acceleration in the browser.<br>
