Comment:

 Since only Firefox seems to be affected by this, we can combine
 crschmidt's suggestion from 2 years ago and mine from 2 months ago and
 just prevent default events on nodes that have an externalGraphic.

 Examples work as expected, tests still pass. Thanks for any review.
