Erik,

It was always our intention to submit this back to the community in the 
way you have described.

I just wanted to get some feedback on our approach before standing it up 
as a "solution".  It seems that the code was set up to be configurable, 
kind of like a style sheet, but in Javascript.  We adjusted the 
positioning and sizing values, following what patterns we could recognise.

Once we've filed the ticket, I'm sure we'll get that feedback so we can 
tidy it up if need be.
