[OpenLayers-Users] WMS request too long

Hello,

when retrieving my layer with WMS I want to send a SLD document in the
sld_body tag. The length of the WMS request gets very long this way and
I came across the limitations in IE. It seems that IE only allows a Get
request length of 2083. Is there a way to go around this issue without
losing IE. I know that Firefox works fine with it but I really need to use
IE.
