[OpenLayers-Users] Layer opacity {getter/setter}?

layer.opacity is a value that is stored on the layer. it is not an API
property, meaning it is subject to change.... but speaking as a
developer of the project, I think we can safely assume that it is not
going to change.

Perhaps we should consider promoting it to APIProperty? Thoughts?
