[OpenLayers-Users] Question on controlling WFS layer based on scale

Hi,

I want to have a WFS layer but I'm thinking that I need to control when 
it is active based on scale so I don't get too many polygons back. What 
is the best way to do this? Can it be handled in OpenLayers? are there 
other strategies for this like does UMN mapserver honor maxscaledenom on 
wfs requests. I guess I'll try that to see if it works.

Other thoughts?
