[OpenLayers-Users] IE 6 chokes on "var featureId = node._featureId; " in getFeatureIdFromEvent(). What's up with that?

I'm digging through the Omniture JavaScript looking for identical variable
names and other such hoo-ha. Turns out it does have a variable named "g".
Could that possible collibe with the <g> tag in OL? Or am I nuts?
