Yes. This is an inheritance problem caused by the mixin of
Layer.Markers for Layer.WFS. The display method of OpenLayers.Layer
will be used instead of the one of OpenLayers.Layer.Vector.

I have uploaded a new patch (singleroot.5.patch) which fixes that issue.
