[OpenLayers-Users] popup.autoSize = true is rather strange

No real help, just a bump. Got the exact same problem.
However, after closing the popup  it is reopened (??) as soon as I do some
panning, not necessarily panning it out of view first. (for ref:
panMapIfOutOfView is set to false). When it reopens, the size is correct...
