[OpenLayers-Users] IE7-8 getting really slow when adding an overlay made of square features with labels

Hi,
I'm experiencing some problems using a vector layer as an overlay for a map,
when this layer is rendered with IE7-8.
The basic problem is that the operation of adding and rendering this new
layer is performed very slowly on IE when this layer, made of some squares,
has labels in its StyleMap.

I'm wondering if anybody else has ever experienced something similar. You
