[OpenLayers-Users] zoomToMaxExtent() problem

hi everyone,

I’m stuck to a problem I can not understand:

I have a map in a div with certain width and heigth. And my image base layer is WAY larger.

(I presume that) because of this the layer is shown only partial even I set zoomToMaxExtent().

Anyone had a similar problem? 

any solution?
