[OpenLayers-Users] pop-up number format

Hi to all

 I have a pop-up that looks like this 

"<h2 style='font-size:.8em'>Installation date:" +
feature.attributes.Install+ "<br />Installed by : " +....

I would like to format the numbers in the pop-up with something like
.toFixed(3); but since i'm a noobie i have no idea how.
