[OpenLayers-Users] The Chrome/olhttp Red Screen of Death

So this doesn't seem to occur in FF (and I'm not even bothering with
IE), but I've got weird red patterning all over my OL object using
olhttp: http://flic.kr/p/aoHCyS

It resets to new and interesting shapes with every pan/zoom, and is
not click/drag-able while the visible parts of the map around it are.

Any ideas? Did version 2.11 just change some interaction with chrome?
