Hi Vita,

Are your tiles perhaps being returned as JPGs? Have you tried using PNG, which supports tranparency. When making your WMS call using "new OpenLayers.Later.WMS(..." try including the following two parameters:
transparent:true, format:'image/png'

Frank.

Subject: [OpenLayers-Users] How to get rid of white background from WMS
Hi everyone,
I need to add a WMS layer of points as a overlay to OSMlayer as a base
layer.
But afterwards it shows these points with white background, and the OSMlayer
is only visible after hide overlay layer. Changing opacity doesn't help me
cause it inflicts that points are more transparent too.

Thanks for advice or some idea how to do that.
