Hmm. If the layers on the server have same SRS as the map on the client, 
then no conversion is required.

If the getfeature-wfs.html doesnt work, then it suggests something more 
fundamental. You do have a working proxy? Have you looked at the request 
that OL is sending the server? (ie from the NET tab in Firebug).
