[OpenLayers-Users] Openlayers style for modify feature showing only mousehover vertexes

Greetings,

As you know OpenLayers gives some editing tools, one of them is
modifyfeature. With this you can increase/decrease size of the geometry,
rotate, move and change the positions of vertexes.

Problem starts with changing the position of vertexes. If you click on a
geometry, OpenLayers gets all vertexes in the geometry and puts them in same
layer as features. Then vertex styling starts to work and all points in the
geometry is being drawn.

If you have a geometry with 8k+ vertexes (drawn with freehand tool) map
application becomes unusable due to performance issues.

I wonder, if there is a way to show some of the vertexes of geometry (for
example vertexes near mouse cursor) or show none at all? Or is there a way
to make vertexes drawn in easier way with changing style?

Thanks for the answers, best regards
