[OpenLayers-Users] Custom svg symbol for vector points layer

Hi all,

Is there a mean to use user-defined svg symbol for rendering vector point? I've seen a ticket about it here:

But I don't know if anything has been implemented yet. Any additional information or ressource would be greatly appreciated.
