[OpenLayers-Users] What is the easiest way to search a vector layer(s)?

Gary,

I have tried to incorporate your code but due to my coding experience with
javascript and HTML I am unable to get it to work correctly.  When I try and
run my code I get a error on line 251 "Cannot call method 'getLayersByName'
of undefined".
