[OpenLayers-Users] Issues with highlighting shapefile layer features using WMSGetFeatureInfo control

Have a look at the response in the NET tab of the debugger. I am 
guessing one of them isnt returning the shape. I usually use the WFS 
getFeature for this kind of work, or SLDSelect control if the geometry 
is complex.
