[OpenLayers-Users] google v2 toolbar showing up

Hi there. I was doing some work on an old project and noticed that my 
google base now has the google toolbar on the left hand side. I believe 
it is using google API v2.

I do not really want to spend a bunch of time/effort upgrading the 
project to a new version of openlayers and then switching over to google 
v3, is there a way I can make that google toolbar disappear?
