i am just working on an example where i use WFS-T with geoserver as my
backend.<br>
I managed to load, change(add,edit,delete) and save the data.<br>
But there are lots of mousetraps:<br>
<ol>
<li>A WFS-Layer will always reload your data when you zoom or
pan==> any modifications are lost==>use GML-Layer to read<br>
</li>
<li>OpenLayers.Format.WFS can be used to create the required
wfs-request, but it its difficult to configure for updates and inserts</li>
<li>Depending on your storage strategy, deletions might be lost.</li>
</ol>
For more detailed question do not hesitate to ask.<br>
