OpenLayer does not reproject 'raster images' on the client side.<br>
Raster images have to reprojected first and can than be overlayed when in the right projection.<br>

When using raster images, in the browser, it is not possible to reproject the images in the same way it might be in a ‘thick’ GIS client.
