<div>Hi,<br><br>I have a problem with my with WMS Layer:</div>

<div>I have a raster image in tif format. When I overlay it in the map, A<br>black background builds at the null-value-area. Now in the map it is also <br>shown as black and annoys the visual appearance. Is it possible to <br>switch it into transparent? </div>

<div>I have tried to change the opacity and transparent:true in the layer params, but it does'nt work.<br></div>
<div>(I am using GeoServer and OpenLayers)</div>
