that in this case is not useful. The problem occurs, I guess, in the moment
of parsing the features in openlayers.layer.vector so during this task the
browser gets freezed like if it was not responding, after a period of time the
browsers zooms to the data extent and is then when it appears the OpenLayers'
loading panel, but it appears because of the zoom action not because of the
procces of parsing the features.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

OpenLayers.Control.LoadingPanel (it`s a addon afaik). <BR>I use it because I´m

are complex polygons with lots of vertices (parcels from cadastre)
and I can't simplify the features because we are on the task of online
editing using wfs-t protocol, so the edition must be

to a real mapserver engine<BR><BR>how dense are your polygons? generalising them
might help a bit if they are very dense<BR><BR>
