It seems odd.<div><br></div><div>Although in my case, same code with google streets v2 does work with OL2.10, but it wont with OL2.11</div><div><br></div><div>So I am thinking this might not be the same kind if "oddness".</div>

Me neither. Seems to me it's the google layers that aren't working. I have maps where switching to a google layer disables the mousewheel. I notice the same effect here in the examples.<br>
