[osgeo4w-dev] python 2.7 as default: would anything
significant break?

Hi there,
I updated my pending packages (except python-rpy2 and qgis) and hijacked
wxpython. Following packages are still open:
> grass yes Martin Landa -
> grass-devel ? Martin Landa -
Does GRASS actually need to be rebuilt for the new python? Isn't having
wxpython available enough?
I installed the GRASS package and it seems to work (although I needed to set
WINGISBASE manually - not sure if that isn't a general issue).

Frank Warmerdam volunteered for these. Not sure if you remember - that was long
ago.
Still vacant:
> liblas-python ? you? ?
> mapfish_framework ? you? ?
> mapnik ? you? 2.6, no 2.7
And also:
> python-rpy2
Do we actually need this? Seems there are not prebuilt binaries for Python 2.7
and we already have python-rpy.
