 I encountered a similar problem with apache. Using setup or apt, it can't
 remove apache, because the service is still running. You can, in forehand,
 stop the service and try again, but it would be better to have a preremove
 batch file that it automatically. However you need admin privileges to to
 this.
 Is it possible to add a preremove batch file to the package? I think, the
 command is always there, through the start menü entry OSgeo4W-Apache-
 Uninstall.

 Also there is a syntactic error in postinstall, as i mentioned somewhere
 else. On the last line of xxmklink commands a simple " is missing in fron
 of %OSGEO4W_ROOT%
