 This has been done, but the most recent `liblas-devel` and `liblas-python`
 packages are not selected during install because the setup.ini generator
 thinks last year's `liblas-1.7.0b1-1` is newer than this years
 `liblas-1.7.0-1` (it's the "b", see
 http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/wiki/PackagingInstructions#ProblematicPackageVersions).

 This can be fix by forcing 1.7.0 as the [curr] version in `setup.hint`.
 That manual override might get forgotten when it comes to the next
 upgrade. I'd think about just removing the beta version from the package
 archive altogether, unless there's a real case for keeping it.
