[OSGeoJapan-discuss] About initiatives relating to Miyagi earthquake

Dear All,

Just to apprise you all about some of the efforts by the
OpenStreetMap and OSGeo community in Japan and
overseas is making related to data regarding the
Miyagi earthquake. Details of some of the ongoing efforts

Wonder if some some consorted coordinated efforts between AIST and other

can be made to support such volunteer initiatives for data gathering and
analysis. Release of DEM, soft ground maps and earthquake energy 
distribution
etc. maybe particularly useful.
