知り合いからアメリカの衛星画像がこのような状況のときは使えるだろうから聞いてみるけどそのようなニーズがあるかどうかと聞かれています。すでに航空写真など手に入っているので重複になりますかね？具体的にはGeo
EyeとNGAだと思いますが。OSMのために使うということだとおそらく貸してもらえるのでは。

The  Harvard disaster portal makes mention of substantial sat imagery
acquisition.  I am sure Japan space agency, commercial sat vendors and
several Asia national satellite agencies are collecting imagery on a
full time basis. So if you need imagery, tomorrow morning I can ask
what US sources are available.  Usually Geo Eye and NGA opens their
archives to the response agencies during disasters such as this one.

The key to acquiring the data is to propose a specific purpose that
assists the relief effort.  please let me know what you would use the
imagery for, and I will see what can be acquired.
