まず、今回の豪雨災害で被災された方，影響受けた方にお見舞い申し上げます。
引き続き災害の危険性も有り、また、台風も近づいていますので、くれぐれも
ご注意ください。

さて、このような時期に恐縮なのですが、本年12月にスリランカで開催される
FOSS4G ASIA 2018の申し込み締め切りの案内がございました。

一般トラックの 締め切りが7月15日、ワークショップの締め切りが 7月 30日と
なっています。2年に一度開かれるアジア地区のカンファレンスなので、是非
ともご参加ください。フォーマットも添付されたのですが、それぞれ3Mほど
有り大きいために、以下のDropboxにアップロードしました。

2015年のFOSS4Gイベントで来日されたRajan氏も講演の予定です。

さて、OSGeo財団日本支部は、このFOSS4G ASIA 2018をシルバースポンサー
として後援しています。その特典として3名分の参加枠を得ております。
このうち1名分については、基調講演をおこなう藤村氏を推薦したいと考えて
おります。
そこで、残り二名について、希望者を募集させていただきます。
希望の方は、japan.osgeo ＠ gmail.com まで、
・氏名
・所属
・OSGeo財団日本支部の会員かどうか（団体会員も含む）
・FOSS4G ASIA 2018での発表予定の有無

について、ご連絡ください。締切は、7月30日とさせていただきます。
希望者が二名以上となった場合は、運営委員会で議論の上、推薦者を決定させて
頂きます。その際、追加で質問をさせていただく事もあるかもしれませんが、
よろしくお願いします。

   - Presentation (General Track) at the conference can be in either oral
   (20 minutes) or poster (A0 size) format. All abstracts must be submitted

   - Abstracts submitted must include the proposed title, abstract,
   keywords and authors photo and short professional biography.
