[OSGeoLive] OSGeoLive 12 - Geonetwork

Hi Brian,

I'm just trying to launch geonetwork. I got the script as I've got Launch with Terminal Emulator turned on and that’s all it says.

When I click start geonetwork, the starting window opens, progress bar moves to the end, firefox opens to http://localhost:8880/geonetwork/ with the message "Unable to connect"

I'm running OSGeoLive the VM version with 8GB ram available

I'm a bit of a newbie with Linux, sorry.

Cheers,

Edd

Hi Edd --

the script you mention here is part of the build system for the OSGeoLive ISO.. Is that what you intended ?
If you are trying to launch geonetwork, or trying to patch the installer script for geonetwork, those are different actions.

There is a general meeting on Freenode IRC channel #osgeolive soon, you are welcome to join there also
  cheers

Hi,

I’m having trouble running Geonetwork, terminal comes up with the error below when I run startup.sh and firefox just says unable to connect. Am I missing a step or something?
